on its banks, but
attacking the villages.
It returned to the great
towns subsequently.
In that year it fell
upon L[or]d Hastings' army,
then in the province
of Bundlecund [Bundelkhand]. Its first
attack on its first
appearance is always
most violent & fatal.
This last for three
or four days; the disease
then mitigates & in about
9 or ten days almost
